The organization has received its governmental letter of operation, with the next step being its final acceptance as a non-governmental
agency.
The Allen
Foundation, a U.S. non-profit public charity and Endegi Gallery L.L.C. are assisting in the development of a resource
center for women and children, in Singida; a village in Tanzania. We are fund raising for construction
of a physical site as well as providing assistance to a local grass roots organization for development of services for
a children's center, micro-business technical assistance training, skill development and health information services.
The primary project
is the implementation of the Children's Center which will provide services for HIV/AIDS orphans, street children, and others
who need day care in a safe environment.
Fun, food and skill development will be the focus of the caregivers at the Children's Center, located within the grounds of
the Women's Resource Center.
Technical Assistance for small business and entrepreneurial activities will be scheduled, and women who attend seminars and
workshops will have the peace of mind knowing that their children are in a fun, safe, nurturing environment.
